McDonald's offering students, teachers free breakfast for STAAR testing

Houston-area McDonald's restaurants are treating students and their teachers to a free breakfast before the kids take the STAAR test.

On Tuesday, April 10, from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m., students and teachers can stop by participating McDonald's restaurants to receive a free, dine-in breakfast.

The meal includes a choice of Fruit and Maple Oatmeal or an Egg White Delight McMuffin Sandwich as an entrée, a choice of apple juice or 1% low fat milk as a beverage, and apple slices.

Students in grades 3-8 who are taking the STAAR test are eligible for the free meal. Teachers of grades 3-8 are also eligible, with a valid school I.D. The offer is limited to one meal per student or teacher. Students must be accompanied by a parent or legal aged guardian.
