Man killed during police chase

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - A man is dead after a police chase in north Houston. Just before 11 p.m, two officers saw a black SUV going the wrong way on a one-way street. Officers tried to stop the truck, but the driver kept going as a chase pursued until they say the driver lost control of the SUV and hit a tree. The driver died at the scene. A passenger inside the vehicle was rushed to the hospital.
