The suspect shot has been identified as Jeremy Endsley. Endsley, according to Pasadena police, parked his car and went into the convenience store. It was when he walked out that we was confronted by a detective with the La Porte Police Department.

Endsley was wanted on drug charges and a probation violation warrant which stemmed from a La Porte area narcotic distribution case, according to police.
