SPRING (FOX 26)
It's May, and that only means one thing in Houston -- it's hot!
But good news for those looking to cool down: the Houston-area's largest water park is opening this weekend!
Wet ’n’ Wild SplashTown in Spring is ready for summer starting May 7, 2016.
The 80-acre water park is the closest park to Houston and features 42 water slides and attractions -- including Wet 'n' Wild Jr. for the kids, a Big Kahuna raft ride for the family, and the never-ending wave at FlowRider.
SplashTown will be open Friday-Sunday through May 22 with gates opening at 10 a.m. The park will open daily at 10 a.m. starting May 26.
For the second year, season pass holders are able to add the Season Pass Meal Plan for $69.99, which provides one combo meal per day for each visit to the park.
Wet ’n’ Wild SplashTown is located at 21300 Interstate 45 North.
