HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Houston police say a teen was struck in the forearm by a bullet that went through his bedroom window.
Officers responded to a call about a 17-year-old who had been shot in his apartment on Faulkner on Houston's southside on Thursday morning. The teen was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive.
Police do not believe the teen was targeted in the shooting.
Police say about an hour after they responded to the call about the teen shot, they got a call about a shooting in progress. They believe that call was in reference to the shooting that injured to teen.
Officers say a man was also found at the scene appearing to have been badly beaten. He was taken to the hospital and is expected to survive. Officers are trying to determine if he was involved in the shooting
