HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Students taking STAAR tests and their teachers can get a free breakfast at participating Houston-area McDonald's restaurants on Tuesday.
Students in grades 3-8 can visit a participating location from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. with a parent or legal-aged guardian for the free breakfast.
The meal includes a choice of an Egg White Delight McMuffin or Fruit and Maple Oatmeal, a choice of 1% low fat milk or apple juice, and apple slices.
"Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and it's essential on testing days," said Carla Moore, President of the Greater Houston McDonald's owner/operators. "We are proud to offer a nutritious breakfast to both teachers and students to ensure everyone is ready to do their best during STAAR testing."
Teachers for grades 3-8 are also eligible for the deal with a valid school ID.
The deal is limited to one breakfast per student or teacher and is for dine-in only. The student must be present and with a guardian to receive the free meal.
