UPDATE: The pilot on board the single engine plane was not hurt. First responders say when they arrived on scene the man was on top of one of the plane's wings before it sank. The FAA is investigating.
First responders were called out to Lake Travis after a plane crashed into the water.

According to Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services, multiple assets were called out to the lake by Pace Bend Park for the reported crash of a single engine airplane into the lake.

Only the pilot, a 40-year-old male, was aboard the aircraft.
