Boy, 6, dies after being found in swimming pool

BAYTOWN, Texas (FOX 26) - Police say a 6-year-old boy who was unresponsive after being found in a pool at a Baytown apartment complex has died.

Around 6:20 p.m., police responded to the 900 block of Northwood. According to police, a 6-year-old boy and a 8-year-old girl were found in a pool. Residents saw the kids and jumped in, then started performing CPR until EMS arrived.

Life Flight transported the two kids to the hospital. The girl is expected to survive.

Police say the kids were dropped off at a nearby apartment complex to visit a relative and some how ended up in the pool.
