La Porte ISD student arrested for terroristic threat
LA PORTE, Texas (FOX 26) - A La Porte ISD student has been arrested for allegedly making a terroristic threat.
It happened Tuesday morning while the student was riding the bus to Lomax Junior High School.
The La Porte Police Department was immediately contacted, and the student was then arrested.
In a statement, school officials said, "safety and security are of paramount importance at La Porte ISD. We take all threats very seriously, and we applaud the individuals who brought this information to our attention."
This is the second reported threat to a school in our area on Tuesday.
