What happens when you take a group of chess playing teenagers from Athens, Georgia to Ethiopia is "mind-blowing" and "eye-opening." It's all included in a documentary that will be shown in Houston on Friday night at the Shrine of the Black Madonna Cultural and Event Center.

Writer, producer and director Lemuel “Life” LaRoche appeared on FOX26 Morning News to talk about the documentary and why he wrote it and why it’s worth watching as a family. The film's title is "Knights to Kings," and will be shown at the Shrine at 6:30 p.m. Friday night, July 27. The screening will be featured at 5309 Martin Luther King Blvd, Houston, TX 77021. Admission is $10, and parking is free.
