J.J. Watt wraps up donations for Hurricane Harvey flood victims today

The Hurricane Harvey fundraising effort spearheaded by Houston Texans star J.J. Watt wraps up today, September 15 at 5 pm after more than $33 million has been raised for hurricane relief efforts. J.J. Watt's fund overwhelmingly exceeds his original goal of $200,000.

"There are not enough words to thank you for all your generosity. If there is one thing that I have taken away from these last weeks, it is the reassurance of how much good is out there in our world, " tweeted Watt in a special message of thanks for all the contributions. 

Major contributors to Watt's fundraiser include Texas grocer H-E-B, the NFL, Houston Texans, Anadarko, Walmart, Amy Adams Strunk who owns the Tennessee Titans.
