Parents seek justice for teen allegedly killed by his uncle

HOUSTON (FOX 26) — Just days before his Marshall High School football team was heading to the state playoffs semifinal round, Drew Conley was allegedly shot and killed by his own uncle in December 2018.

17-year-old Drew and his 52-year-old uncle were arguing and threatening each other. Drew allegedly went into his uncle’s room to confront him. His uncle claims he feared for his safety, grabbed a rifle and shot Drew in the leg.

Drew was taken to a hospital where he died from his injury. The teen's family is seeking justice.
