After being mocked in school, according to his lawyer, Javon Washington tried to leave the campus of Mayde Creek High School to catch his breath and calm himself down. On November 30, 2016, after a brief struggle with a school resource officer, the 17-year-old with the mindset of a second grader was shocked with a Taser seven times.
Washington's mother, Lori, says no one called her until EMS arrived at the school.
