Esports industry projected to make $2.3 billion by 2022

The gaming community was shocked to hear about Sunday's shooting at the mall in Jacksonville.

One of the men who was killed had won the Madden Classic Tournament two years ago. The other had won $51,000 in his short gaming career.

Participants can make a good living traveling the country to participate in competitive gaming, also called esports. The industry is projected to make $2.3 billion in revenue by 2022.
