Racism declared a public health crisis in Wisconsin
The executive of Milwaukee County, Wisconsin has signed a resolution declaring racism a public health crisis. He says it's about making apublic commitment to taking action to address decades of race-based disparities in employment, education, incarceration, income, and access to capital.

Mayor offers to pay criminals to get out of town
A mayor in Mississippi has come up with an interesting way to get drug dealers and gang member to leave his town. He's offering to pay them $10,000 to get out.
Clarksdale mayor Chuck Espy says he's even willing to come out of his own pockets if it will help reduce crime in his city. He hopes the money will persuade those who commit crimes to move away and start new lives.
Mayor Espy says the city's crackdown on crime is working. Clarksdale's police chief says crime is down this year. So far, there has been one homicide, compared to 12 last year.Read the full article
Houston legend Bushwick Bill fighting stage 4 pancreatic cancer
If you don't know that song by the Geto Boys, then you're not a Houstonian.
The legendary rap group put Houston on the map and one its members is the iconic Bushwick Bill. Bill started out with the group as a dancer and then elevated to rapper. He's made a long list of solo albums on his own, and there's more to come.
