Isiah Factor - Texas legislature law change has prosecutors scrambling

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - A move by the Texas legislature has prosecutors around the state scrambling to make sure those caught with certain types synthetic drugs are not charged with felonies.

The little notice law change came in September 2015 after Texas lawmakers attempted to reduce the spread of synthetic drugs like Kush.

But one prosecutor says there was a foul up that turned controlled substances like Speed and Xtasy into misdemeanor offenses.
