HPD responding to report of body in Sims Bayou

Houston Police Department homicide investigators are responding to a report of a body in Sims Bayou.

Around 6:41 p.m. police responded to the report of a body floating in the bayou. It is not clear on if the victim was a drowning  victim as a result of Monday's flooding.

The HPD dive team and homicide investigators were called to the scene, and remain on site as the investigation continues.
