HPD officer struck by school bus in Missouri City
MISSOURI CITY, Tx. - A Houston Police Department officer was struck by a school bus while riding a motorcycle Thursday afternoon.
The call was reported around 4:43 p.m. in the 3100 block of Lake Olympia.
The officer was leaving an extra job when he was struck by a Fort Bend ISD school bus.The bus failed to yield the right of way.
The officer was transported by ground to a local hospital with head injuries and complaining of abdominal pain.
He was alert and conscious at the time of transport.
