HPD investigating deadly crash on Sam Houston Tollway feeder road

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Houston police are investigating a deadly crash on the Sam Houston Tollway feeder road.

Investigators say a gray 4-door car was headed south on the feeder road just before 4 a.m. Sunday when it hit a guard rail. Three adults were in the car at the time.

The driver and passenger were taken to the hospital in serious condition. They are expected to survive. A passenger in the back seat was killed.

Police say they will be testing to see if the driver was under the influence at the time.
