The family of the woman found in a car just outside of Baytown spoke with FOX 26 exclusively.

They want justice; because they believe their daughter was murdered.

Justine Padgett was found dead inside a car at 9960 Kleckley, Feb. 10. Kristine and Javier Estrada said they got a knock on their door at 3 a.m. from Baytown Police.

“I want answers I want to know why she died, how she died, like I said I have to bury my daughter and I didn’t even know how she died,” said Kristine Estrada, her mother.

HPD Homicide is investigating at this time and have not released any leads, .if any, in the case.  But the family said  it was how the report came in, and after the family saw their daughter at the medical examiner’s office that lead them to believe she was murdered.

“I was told she didn’t suffer, and as a mother seeing your child there I know she suffered.  Marks and things I know my daughter.”

“As a father you want to ask me how I feel? I don’t wish this on my worst enemy,” said Javier Estrada, her father.

Padgett leaves behind three children, her parents, grandparents, and friends. Houston police are awaiting autopsy results that will help determine the cause of death.
