ALVIN, Texas (FOX 26) - Horse riding has been shown to enhance the lives of people with autism and other disabilities. One horse therapy service south of Houston is proving that and quickly growing. Fox 26 photojournalist Darlene Janik Faires toured the SoleAna Stables in Alvin.
Fifty-two people are currently on the waiting list. The group hopes to raise enough money so they can expand and be able to accommodate all the children and adults who wish to take part. For more information on fundraising efforts and how to volunteer, visit their website.
