An employee with the Houston Independent School District is now a wanted man after being accused of improper behavior with a minor.

FOX 26 News has learned 57-year-old David Morales was charged with indecency with a minor but investigators have not been able to locate him for two days.

Morales worked in a technical role at JR Harris Elementary School.

Court records also show Morales was charged with solicitation of prostitution back in 2006 but the case was dismissed after deferred adjudication.

Parents at Harris Elementary say their children could have come into contact with Morales, but they've been left in the dark because the school did not alert them of the investigation.

A spokesperson for HISD says once they learned about the criminal investigation, Morales was told to work out of his home.

They also say the victim in this case was not a student and it did not happen on campus.
