HOUSTON, TX - A flash flood warning is now in effect for the Bay City, Van Vleck, Sargent area until 10:15am. More than 4" of rain has fallen this morning, so please proceed on the roads with caution and avoid any high water troublespots.
Heavy downpours are expected across the Houston-area today that could produce 2-3" of rain, on top of the 2-6" of rain we've already had for the last two days. Good news--that rainy pattern begins to break tomorrow! Thunderstorms rumbled through Bay City and Matagorda county this morning with lots of lightning. Expect a much warmer, drier pattern ahead, but the tropics now look quiet. Temps expected back to the mid 90's tomorrow and this weekend.
