Harris County Sheriff's Office investigating death of a man in custody
HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (FOX 26) - Harris County Sheriff’s Office says a man died shortly after being brought into the Harris County Sheriff’s Office Inmate Processing Center by private bail recovery agents on Tuesday afternoon.
According to HCSO, the 31-year-old man was brought in around 2 p.m. and presented no signs of medical distress. After having his fingerprints and photo taken, officials say he appeared to have a seizure.
Paramedics began CPR on arrival and the man was transported to St. Joseph Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, authorities say.
