Harris County District Attorney launches Law & Order Program

With help from her Assistant District Attorneys, Harris County District Attorney Devon Anderson has launched the inaugural Law & Order Program on President’s Day, Feb. 15. The program encourages 100 selected high school students to explore career opportunities in the legal employment sector.

Junior and senior students from Eastwood Academy met with prosecutors on Monday, including District Attorney Anderson, and witnessed several components of the criminal justice system. The goal of the program is to provide students with a basic understanding of the criminal justice system including visits to the Intake Division, Civil Rights Division and Technical Services.
