Harris County detectives investigate shooting off 249

HOUSTON, Texas (FOX 26) - The Harris County Sheriffs Office is investigating a shooting off SH 249 that has left one man in critical condition.

It happened Sunday evening in the 11000 block of SH 249 in northwest Harris County.

A man was driving a silver four door sedan when he was shot in the head. He was transported to a nearby hospital and was last listed to be in critical condition and undergoing surgery.

"We have no suspect information other than a dark color either blue or black Mercedes SUV, we do not know the motive, we are interviewing witnesses at this time," says Sgt. Shannon Bowdoin.
