HOUSTON, Texas (FOX 26) - All it takes is a little time on social media unsupervised and the consequences could be very grave for a young person.
Harris County Sheriff's investigators have arrested men they call violent sexual predators. They're identified as 25-year-old Francisco Anavisca and 24-year-old Pedro Lopez.
They're accused of using the social media programs KIK and MeetMe.com to lure a 15-year-old female to Houston.
That teen, who is an aspiring singer, was told by Anavisca and Lopez that they were music producers.
Investigators say the teen left home in Rusk County and came to Harris County where she was held for two days and sexually assaulted.
Both men have long criminal histories including another case of sexual assault. Sheriff Ron Hickman says they're also affiliated with the gangs MS-13 and Houstone.
Deputies also say Lopez is in the country illegally and has been deported twice.
Baby Bash is a 'real' chart topping - multi-platinum selling producer and rapper who lives in Houston.
As a father he says it sickens him that people will use his industry to take advantage of unsuspecting young victims.
"If you're under 18 or 19, get some help, some outside help, from people who know the business," Bash said. "Do your research before you jump into something crazy."
Both men are being held on sexual assault charges without bond.
