Galveston church leaders meet with law enforcement to discuss security

Galveston area churches are working to tighten security after the Sutherland Springs church massacre.

The pastor of Jerusalem Baptist Church on Galveston Island organized a meeting with church leaders, law enforcement and church members. Police say churches are soft targets and discussed how to make them safer including possible training for leaders and members.

Police say it's crucial for churches to have a plan and for everyone to be aware of their surroundings.
