Free admission at Schlitterbahn Galveston for military, first responders Aug. 13 - 19

Schlitterbahn is honoring military members and first responders during “American Heroes Week” with free admission.

From August 13 through August 19, active duty and retired military, police, firefighters and EMTs can receive free admission at Schlitterbahn Galveston.

In addition to the free admission, the spouses and dependents of military members and first responders can receive 50 percent off the admission price at the gate.

First responders and military members need to show their military ID or proof of employment at the park entrance. They can purchase the discounted tickets for spouses and dependents at the ticket booth.

Military members eligible for the offer include active duty, veterans, reservists, and Department of Defense.
