The mystery woman caught on surveillance video in Montgomery County was apparently escaping sexual assault. Authorities said her boyfriend, 49-year-old Dennis Ray Collins, died by suicide at their house in the Sunrise Ranch subdivision yesterday. Records show he has a history of sexual violence. Deputies think the high profile nature of the case may have played a role in his decision to kill himself. 

Houston ISD is evaluating and working on the problems with its new bus hub system. The 46 hubs were created to make pick-up and drop-off for magnet students better, but according to parents their children are dealing with long wait times and overcrowding.

The town of Kemah has a different approach to stopping drunk driving. About a year ago, bars in the area decided to get walkie talkies, so they can warn each other about unruly customers.They can also warn police about potential drunk drivers trying to get behind the wheel. 

Immigration attorneys and advocates are claiming that the U.S. government is denying passports to U.S. citizens born near the U.S.-Mexico border. According to the State Department, it has not changed its policies.
