A fire at a recycling plant in southwest Houston has been contained and a shelter-in-place order has been lifted. More than 200 firefighters responded to the four-alarm fire.

We've learned more about the police officer in Montgomery County charged with his brother's murder. The Stagecoach Police Chief said he moved Sgt. Robert Lee from patrol to clerical work about two months ago, because he was going through a divorce and had health issues.

Former President George H.W. Bush is spending Memorial Day in a Maine hospital.

Santa Fe ISD Officer John Barnes is still in the intensive care unit, but his condition is improving. He has been upgraded from critical to serious condition.

The town of Hempstead held its first Memorial Day parade today, the brain child of World War II veteran Travis Winfree.
