FOX 26 News Brief for June 18, 2018

Bursts of scattered showers are hitting areas across Houston and Galveston. Although the rain spared most of the Galveston area today, National Weather Service forecasters are urging everyone to be prepared for rain over the next few days.

Terry Thompson's murder trial resumed today. He, along with his ex-deputy wife, faces murder charges for a fight outside a Sheldon restaurant that left Johnny Hernandez dead.

A $1.5 million bond has been set for the man accused of killing a family of three who went missing.

A Houston man had his car stolen, then helped police take down the accused thief.

Former First Lady Laura Bush penned an op-ed in the Washington Post condemning the Trump Administration's "zero tolerance" immigration policy.
