The Houston ISD school board said it will not vote on whether to give control of 10 low performing schools to a private charter group. It's now up to the board to help those schools bring up their scores and meet standards or they could be shuttered by the state.

Some parents were dragged out and detained by police during Tuesday night's wild, chaotic school board meeting. Two women were arrested. Charges against them have been dropped.

A street racing crash in southwest Houston killed a 14-year-old and 15-year-old boy. Another 14-year-old involved in the crash is being charged with failing to stop and render aid and racing causing death.

President George H.W. Bush is out of intensive care, but remains at Houston Methodist Hospital, where he's been under treatment for a blood infection since Sunday.

A federal judge gave the White House an ultimatum. The Trump Administration has 90 days to explain why the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals, or DACA, program is unlawful.
