At least two people are dead after a crash on I-45 near FM 1375 in New Waverly. The wreck backed up traffic for miles. Texas DPS troopers said at about 2:30 p.m. an SUV was traveling northbound, lost control, went into the southbound lanes, and hit a passenger vehicle and a bus.

Dozens of bodies have been discovered in a field in Sugar Land on University Boulevard at Chatham Avenue. Workers discovered the 30 plus graves while trying to build a new Fort Bend ISD Career Technology Center.

The battle over where to try an ex-deputy and her husband for murder rages on. Terry and Chauna Thompson are asking for a change of venue. They claim there's been so much publicity around their case, they can't get a fair trial in Harris County.
