Santa Fe High School was placed on lockdown after reports of popping sounds outside of the school and threats on social media.

A 16-year-old has been certified as an adult in a capital murder case out of Montgomery County.

Grandparents charged with international parental kidnapping of a Houston boy appeared in court today.

Dick’s Sporting Goods announced it is pulling assault style rifles, often called modern sporting rifles, off its shelves, along with high-capacity magazines. It’s also banning gun sales to anyone under 21.
