Hundreds of parents are trying to determine where their children will be educated after a Houston-area charter school suddenly closes following fire code violations and suspended funding from the Texas Education Agency.

There's a sense of relief in the Katy area after a man accused of randomly shooting at female drivers is back behind bars.

A driver is in custody after leading law enforcement officers on a half-hour chase from Chambers County into northeast Harris County. Deputies believed the driver was impaired and tried to stop the vehicle.
