A jury has sentenced Jordanian national Ali Irsan to the death penalty. Irsan was convicted of orchestrating the murders of his daughter's husband and her friend to restore his honor, after his daughter converted to Christianity and married an American.

Raymond and Dikeisha Pryor are sharing their story in the hopes of turning their pain into change. It's been almost one month since their 3-year-old son RJ died after being left in a hot child care center van. His parents are now filing a lawsuit against that center.

Parents and teachers at a Houston charter school are in shock after learning the school is shutting down. Houston Independent School District is ending its contract with Kandy Stripe Academy, giving no reasons as to why, just days before classes were scheduled to start.
