Four people charged in connection to Tamina double murder case

Four people have been arrested in connection to the murder of two cousins, Jaquise Williams and Akeem Russell, in their Tamina home on July 20.

18-year-old Roman Pray, 17-year-old Thomas Lizcano and a juvenile have been charged with capital murder. They face the possibility of a death sentence or life in prison. 30-year-old Roddrick Jordan has been charged with aggravated robbery and faces 25 years to life in prison.

Investigators say 23-year-old Jaquise Williams and his cousin 24-year-old Akeem Russell were found shot to death in the house they shared in the 9600 block of Bimms Drive. Jaquise's 2-year-old daughter was in the house with them during the shooting. She was found alive but she sat there with her father's body alone overnight.

Deputies say the motive appears to robbery and things got out of hand.

Deputies say Williams and Russell were found around 9 a.m. on July 20 when a relative went to check on them. They hadn't been heard from since Wednesday.

Authorities are still searching for additional persons of interest and a late model, light colored Nissan Pathfinder. Anyone with information is asked to call MCSO at (936)760-5800.
