Flash Flood Watch for Houston-area until Thursday morning

Heavy rain and severe storms area expected to hit the Houston-area later Wednesday afternoon, with showers drenching the area as early as 10 a.m. The storms will intensify after 1 p.m. A Flash Flood Watch is in effect until Thursday, 7 a.m.  Expect a potential for more than 2-4 inches of rain and storms later Wednesday afternoon and evening after a cold front moves through. Stay alert on the roads--there's a potential for street flooding in our area. 

Austin and San Antonio have already had up to 3 inches of rain Wednesday morning. Do not drive through high water areas; If you do see a flooded roadway, turn around; Stay informed and safe!

Good News: Rain should move out early tomorrow morning, so it will not be a long-lasting event. Easter weekend looks nice.
