It took 120 firefighters about an hour and a half to extinguish the 2 alarm fire at an apartment complex in the 7600 block of Corporate Drive.

All ten units were destroyed in the blaze.

District Fire Chief Curtis Williams says traffic in the area hindered efforts to extinguish the blaze and the wind direction and water pressure also caused problems for firefighters.

Williams said the complex was built many years ago and there didn't appear to be firewalls between the units.

No tenants were injured, however some reported that the units didn't have smoke detectors.

One firefighter was taken to the hospital to be treated for a cut he sustained while battling the blaze.

Arson investigators are trying to determine the exact cause of the fire.
