Driver leads police on 120-mph chase on Katy Freeway

A man who had several warrants out for domestic violence led police on a high-speed chase down Katy Freeway last night, at speeds of up to 120 mph.

The suspect previously threatened to kill and shoot a woman at her home. A deputy with Harris County Precinct 5 was guarding the woman's home around 10:30 pm last night, after she received repeated threats. The deputy then spotted the suspect as he approached her home, and tried to stop him, but he took off. Deputies were eventually able to catch the suspect with spike strips. The suspect then lost control and crashed into a wall.

The suspect now faces a charge for felony evading.
