Double murder in southeast Houston

HOUSTON (FOX 26 ) - A man and a woman were shot and killed inside of their home in the Sunnyside section of southeast Houston between 3:30 and 4:30 a.m. Monday. Investigators say it was not a forced entry and that the couple knew their attacker. There was a third person at the home who witnessed the shooting. That man has been taken in for questioning, according to police.

Investigators also say that the shooter may have had a previously relationship with one of the people killed. The woman was shot in the head and the man was shot in the stomach. Both of the victims died in the home and police are conducting a search for the shooter.
