UPDATE 3/27/2017 7:21AM:

Harris county Sheriff''s office continue their search this morning for the three men involved in in a shooting rampage that left two people dead in a Northeast Harris County apartment complex.

Last night’s shooting is another act of violence being added to list of problems that have plagued the Haverstock Hills Apartments for years.

An injunction was put in place back in 2010 to keep suspected gang members out of the apartment complex. It is believed many who live here are members of the bloods and Crips gangs. One of the big headliners at the apartment complex took place in 2015 when 32 arrests where made of people who were associated with a gang or had open warrants.

Authorities say an argument started between 2 groups of people last night, that's when a man got out of a white Cadillac and started shooting into the crowd of people with a high powered rifle. He took off in that same vehicle leaving 2 men dead. 2 women and 2 men where also injured. Police are now searching for the shooter and two other men who were inside the car. A local pastor came out to because he was frustrated and said more changes need to be made. If you have any information that can help your encouraged to call crimestoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
