Deputies investigating apparent murder-suicide in north Harris County

The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an apparent murder-suicide in north Harris County.

According to deputies, a man and woman in their 70s were found dead in the backyard of a home on Pear Tree Lane. Both suffered from gunshot wounds.

Homicide and Crime Scene Unit investigators responded to the scene.

Investigators say all indications are consistent with murder-suicide. The Harris County Office of Forensic Sciences will conduct autopsies.
