Dad shot while driving with his 8-year-old son in Northeast Houston

HOUSTON, TX - Houston police are searching for a gunman who injured a father in a drive-by shooting in Northeast Houston. Police say the shooting occurred right in front of his 8-year-old son. Authorities responded to the scene at around 6:30 pm last night at the 6100 block of Moss Oaks Driver, near the intersection of Swan river at Bending Oaks.

The dad was in the car with his young son, when someone fired shots from another vehicle. The wounded driver then ran into a fire hydrant.
