Cookie Challenge

Here's the scenario. You're late for a July 4th gathering; you've got to quickly run into the grocery store to grab a simple treat.  You can't go wrong with cookies.

In a very unscientific taste test, FOX 26 News taste tested 5 readily-available grocery store sugar cookies. They ranged in size and price.

The winner was the plain sugar Cookie from HEB. This package of 18 cookies sells for $4.

Coming in second, was the soft frosted cookie from Kroger. The package also costs $4, but you get 10 cookies instead of 18.

The package of 5 dozen star cookies came in 3rd.  This choice is by far the most economical.  The customer gets 60 small cookies for $3.  This box is also the least expensive per ounce of cookie.
