Texas EquuSearch joins search in Crystal Beach drowning

HOUSTON (FOX26) - UPDATE Tuesday 2:00pm

At the request of the Crystal Beach Fire Department; Texas EquuSearch has joined the search for 54 year-old Terry Millender in Crystal Beach, Texas.Terry was reported missing after his un-manned boat was witnessed going in circles, then later running aground in Crystal Beach.  It is assumed that Terry drowned following some type of mishap on his boat. Tim Miller is currently using side-scan sonar in his efforts to find Terry.  

 The U.S. Coast Guard continues looking for a man whose boat was spotted steering in circles until it ended up on Crystal Beach. Joining the search near mile marker 338 in the Intercoastal Waterway is the Galveston County Sherrif's Dept. and Crystal Beach Fire Dept.

Officials tell us the missing man's name is Terry Millender.

Items on the 19 foot skiff indicate Millender had been out crabbing.
