City officials, educators call for repeal of sanctuary cities law

Some of Houston’s business leaders, educators, city officials and grassroots organizers held a press conference today calling for the repeal of the so-called "sanctuary cities" law.

The Texas Works Together news conference detailed the economic costs to the state and the community, that are a result of Senate Bill four being passed.

They say the law is already hurting businesses and workforce development and they're urging Texans to campaign against the law.
