Churchgoers tip delivery man $700, and it may have changed his life

- A spontaneous act of kindness may have changed the life of a pizza delivery guy who didn't see it coming.

Jeff Louis, 22, was called in early to Gionino's Pizzeria in Mentor, Ohio to make a hefty delivery to Life Point Church.

Before he arrived, Pastor Ken Wright had the idea of blessing the random delivery guy with good fortune.

"I just thought, 'Let's tip him $100. It's the holiday season," Wright told WKYC.

What happened when Louis arrived, brought him to tears and led him to post an emotional testimony on YouTube.

"The most amazing thing happened. This whole church came up and gave me ... over $700 for a tip."

Wright tells WKYC the huge tip was all spontaneous.

"It just happened. They started lining up one by one with their own cash tips," said Wright.

But what Louis reveals in the video, the congregation of Life Point Church could have never known.

"I've been having such a hard time lately, just struggling to stay clean," said Louis. "I'm just trying to get my life back."

Tears stream down his face as he says, "It really truly amazes me that people who don't even know me just wanted to help me out that much."

Wright couldn't be more pleased with the impact of his congregation's random act of kindness.

"We can change the world one life at a time."
