Chuck E. Cheese's celebrates a year of Sensory Sensitive Sundays

Chuck E. Cheese's is celebrating its first anniversary of making play time more inclusive.

This month marks one year since the company launched "Sensory Sensitive Sundays."

Several locations across the country have been reducing noise and dimming lights to accommodate children with autism and other special needs.

Food, games and trained care staff are on the premises during the events.

Participating restaurants typically open two hours early on the first Sunday of each month.

Due to the Easter holiday on April 1, some centers are holding their first Sensory Sensitive Sunday of the month on April 8 from 9-11 a.m.
